Video Watermark

Good clips travel — and they usually travel without credit. A watermark makes your brand travel with them. This tool stamps either your logo image (a PNG with transparency looks best) or a line of text — your business name, your @handle — into any corner of the video, on every frame. It runs in your browser: the video is re-encoded locally with the watermark burned in, and nothing is uploaded. Burned-in is the point — unlike a caption or a sticker added by a social app, a rendered watermark cannot be peeled off by the next person who downloads the clip.

Choose a file to begin — nothing is uploaded, everything happens on your device.

How to use this tool

  1. Choose the video to brand.
  2. Pick logo or text: upload a logo image (PNG with transparency works best), or type your text.
  3. Choose the corner and the size.
  4. Click Add watermark, preview a frame, then download.

Worked example

A plumber's logo placed bottom-right stays on every frame of a job-site clip — so when the video gets re-shared without credit, the brand travels with it.

Frequently asked questions

Can the watermark be removed later?

Not from the watermarked file — it is rendered into the pixels of every frame, which is what makes it effective when clips are re-shared. Always keep your clean original; this tool only ever produces a new, marked copy.

What logo file works best?

A PNG with a transparent background, wider than it is tall, at least as wide as the size you pick (120–260px). A logo on a solid box background will show the box; if your logo has a white background, the text option may look cleaner.

Where should I put the watermark?

Bottom right is the convention — visible but out of the way of faces and captions. Avoid the centre (it fights the content) and the very edge (some players crop a few pixels). Subtle and consistent beats big and shouty.

Does the watermark cover the whole video or one frame?

Every frame, in the same position, for the whole duration — that is what a watermark means. The video is fully re-encoded with the overlay as part of the picture.
