Instagram Video Downloader

This Instagram video downloader is the video-first version of our Instagram tool: paste a reel or feed-video link and you get the original MP4 the post plays with — not a screen recording and not a re-compressed copy. The post's cover frame and title appear first so you can check you grabbed the right link, and if a post carries a separate audio track you can save just the sound as well. It is a clean way to archive your own published reels in full quality, keep client-approved cuts, or save a public tutorial you are allowed to keep offline.

Please only download content you own or have permission to save. Public posts only — private accounts cannot be fetched.

How to use this tool

  1. Copy the reel or video link from Instagram (Share → Copy link).
  2. Paste it into the box above.
  3. Press “Get video links” and confirm the preview is the right clip.
  4. Tap the top MP4 option to download the best quality.

Worked example

A fitness coach downloads her own 30-second form-check reel at full quality to embed in a course lesson, instead of uploading a blurry screen recording.

Frequently asked questions

Will the downloaded video have a watermark?

No extra watermark is added by this tool. You receive the same file Instagram serves for playback; if the creator burned a watermark into the video itself, it will of course still be there.

What quality is the MP4?

The best quality the post itself offers — normally the exact resolution the creator uploaded. Options are listed best-first, with file sizes shown when the platform reports them.

Can I download just the audio of a reel?

Yes, when the post exposes a separate audio track, an “Audio only” button appears under the video options. For music-only extraction from any post, the Instagram Audio Downloader page is the dedicated tool.

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes. The download opens in Safari and saves to Files/Downloads like any other file; on Android it lands in your Downloads folder. No app is needed on either.
