Age Calculator — Exact Age in Years, Months & Days
Work out an exact age in years, months and days between any two dates — plus total days lived, the next birthday and the weekday of birth.
Open toolWhat day of the week were you born on — and how long until your next birthday? Enter your date of birth into this free birthday calculator and it tells you the weekday of your birth, the exact date of your next birthday, how many days are left until it, the age you will be turning, and how many days you have been alive so far. It is perfect for party planning, milestone birthdays (your 10,000th day is a fun one to celebrate), and checking which weekday your birthday falls on this year before you book anything. Everything is calculated on the real calendar in your browser — your birth date never leaves your device.

Born 15 June 1990? The next birthday is Tuesday 15 June 2027, turning 37 — 232 days after 26 October 2026.
Enter your date of birth above and the calculator looks the weekday up on the perpetual calendar — the same calendar arithmetic used by historians. Monday's child, Sunday's child: whatever day it shows is the actual weekday your birth date fell on, leap years and century rules included. It works for any date from 1900 onwards, so you can check parents' and grandparents' birthdays too.
A golden birthday is the birthday when you turn the same age as the day of the month you were born on — born on the 14th, your golden birthday is your 14th. There are related novelties too: a "champagne" birthday in some families is the same idea, and your 10,000th day of life (which falls at about 27 years and 4 months old) is a popular extra milestone to celebrate.
People born on 29 February only get a "real" birthday every four years. In non-leap years most celebrate on 28 February or 1 March — legally, many countries treat 1 March as the date they age up, which is the convention this calculator follows when it projects your next birthday. If your family celebrates on 28 February instead, your countdown is one day shorter in non-leap years.
A normal year has 365 days, which is 52 weeks plus one extra day — so your birthday moves forward one weekday each year, and two weekdays after a leap year (because 366 days leaves two extra). That is why a birthday that was on a Saturday this year lands on a Sunday — or Monday after a 29 February — next year.
