Website SEO Analyzer — On-Page SEO Score & Checklist
Audit any page's on-page SEO with a score out of 100: title, headings, alt coverage, links, canonical, HTTPS, word count and a prioritised fix list.
Open toolEnter any web page URL and this free meta tags checker fetches the page and lists what is actually in its head: the title tag, the meta description, and every other meta tag it finds — robots, viewport, charset, canonical, Open Graph and more — each shown in full. Title and description get instant length verdicts against what Google can display, so you can spot the classic problems in seconds: a missing description, a title truncated mid-word, a stray noindex, or a competitor's page you want to benchmark. It reads the live page exactly as a crawler receives it, which beats guessing from a CMS preview.
A services page turns out to carry a leftover noindex robots tag from its staging days — invisible in the CMS, obvious in this check, and fatal to rankings.
Three do the heavy lifting: the title tag (the strongest on-page ranking signal and your search-result headline), the meta description (not a ranking factor, but the advert text that wins or loses the click), and the robots meta (which can quietly block indexing with a noindex — the costliest tag to get wrong). Behind them: the canonical link element (which URL owns the content), the viewport tag (mobile usability), and the charset declaration. Open Graph and Twitter tags matter for how links look when shared — there is a dedicated checker for those.
Because it fetches the finished page from the server, after your theme, plugins, CDN and A/B tools have all had their say — which is also the version search engines receive. CMS previews show intentions; themes inject their own tags, SEO plugins overwrite some, and caching can serve stale copies. When the checker and the preview disagree, the checker is describing reality.
Google displays about 50–60 characters of a title (roughly 580 pixels) and 150–160 characters of a description (roughly 920 pixels) on desktop, less on mobile. The verdicts flag empty tags, short ones that waste the space, and long ones whose endings will be cut with "…". A cut title is not a ranking penalty — but a cut call-to-action or brand name is a wasted click opportunity, which is the point of checking before you publish.
Any public page works, including competitors' — meta tags are public by design, sent to every visitor and crawler. Pages behind logins, paywalls or bot protection will return whatever the server gives an unauthenticated visitor (often a login page or a block), and the checker faithfully reports that; it cannot and does not log in on your behalf.
