It is built for business owners and marketers who are planning a review campaign and want a realistic target instead of a guess.
Google rating calculator FAQs
Why does my Google rating move so slowly when I have lots of reviews?
Because the average is weighted. With 20 reviews, a handful of 5-star reviews can lift you noticeably. With 500 reviews, the same handful barely registers — the calculator shows the exact number for your situation, which is why review goals should always be set from your real count, not a rule of thumb.
Can I reach a perfect 5.0 rating?
Only if every review you ever receive is 5 stars. Once a single lower rating exists, the average can get closer and closer to 5.0 but never exactly equal it — so a target of 4.8 or 4.9 is the realistic goal, and this calculator will tell you honestly when a target is mathematically impossible.
Does this account for new low ratings arriving?
No — it assumes every new review is 5 stars, so treat the number as a best-case target. In practice, ask every happy customer for a review (our google review link generator gives them a two-tap link), respond to negative reviews professionally, and your real pace will be close to the plan.
